Hello gorgeous! I am the owner of The Emerald, Green's upscale color and extension specialty salon. I have been doing extensions for over 6 years, specializing in hand-tied sewn-in extensions for the last 4. I also specialize in blonding and lived in color. I am passionate about working with your hair, not against it. I value education and attend classes regularly while encouraging the rest of my girls at the salon to do the same. You won't find the talent we have here anywhere else in the Akron area. As a brand new salon we are so excited to show you what we can do!
When I'm not in the salon I'm living the mom life with my son. We're either traveling or running around a park somewhere. When he's napping you can find me curled up with a good book. Leo & enneagram 7 vibes.

Hello! I have been working alongside Tya the past 7 years and am so excited to be apart of her team at The Emerald. I have been specializing in extensions the past 4 years. I have been giving the ultimate hair experiences since 2015. I love to refer to all of my services as experiences because I want them to be something you enjoy & remember. I'm here to give all the amazing experiences. I'm known for my scalp massages during my shampoo experiences & amazing blowouts! My color specialties are lived-in colors, blonding, & customized haircuts. I also offer tape-in extensions for the ultimate transformations.
When I'm not hanging out with my guests behind the chair I am spending time with my loved ones, checking out new restaurants and coffee shops, thrifting, kayaking, and spending time in nature. As a Sagittarius-Capricorn cusp you know that I will work to the ends of the earth to give you the hair of your dreams.

Hi Gorgeous! Call me Kenzie :) I'm new to The Emerald, but I was on the hunt for a trendy small boutique salon where I wasn't another number. I'm sure after one visit you will love The Emerald as much as I do! I specialize in lived in colors which include: blonding and dimensional brunettes. I'm also recently certified in The Emerald's hand tied extension method and am taking new extension clients. In addition to hair I'm a fabulous makeup artist. Yes, I do weddings in addition to the makeup services I offer at the salon.
I'm a Capricorn and enneagram 4... so pretty much I know what I want in life and in my career and I have enough self awareness and creativity to get me there. Hi babes! I have been doing nails for 12 years.. WHAT? Sounds so crazy, but it's true. Over the last 12 years I have done it ALL. Now, I mostly specialize in acrylics and nail sculpting. Let's not forget nail art, too. Like I'm talking the Pinterest nail art of your dreams. Gems, animal prints, chrome, glitter, hand painted designs, textures, etc. Seriously, let me make your nail dreams come true!
When I'm not throwing down nail art I'm at home with my four babies. Okay, they're not ALL babies anymore, my oldest is almost 5. I love being a mom but I also might love Beyonce just as much.
